The meaning
Boudoir is a French word for a woman's private dressing room: the place where she gets ready, alone, before the world sees her.
A boudoir shoot is a sensual, elegant photo session in lingerie, a dress or anything that makes you feel powerful. It isn't a catalogue shoot and it isn't cold fashion: it is about you, at your best.
Boudoir, glamour or sensual?
The three words are often mixed up. Glamour is more about polish and spectacle; sensual describes the mood. Boudoir brings the two together: luxury, light and attitude, in a setting that feels like yours.
